Hays' Corporate Responsibility
At Hays, we take an active interest in supporting charity and all our staff contribute to our ongoing charity appeals, by both volunteering and donating. Following a staff vote, Cure Cancer has been selected as our new Charity Partner for Hays in Australia, with our staff in New Zealand continuing their ongoing support of United Way.
About Cure Cancer:
Cure Cancer Australia's single focus is to find a cure for cancer. The foundation provides vital start up funding for innovative, ground-breaking research projects across all types of cancer. Since 1967, they have channelled over $15 million in the form of funding grants to researchers and have come to stand for integrity, excellence, and success in research.
Untold thousands of lives have been saved around the world as a consequence of the knowledge gained and the treatments developed from Cure Cancer Australia's funded research projects.

About United Way
Established internationally in 1887 and operating in New Zealand since 1975, United Way's vision is to improve quality of life through voluntary giving and action. They are an independent, non-religious, non-political, volunteer based organisation and their Mission is to encourage generosity by brokering resources (money, time and skills) between individuals, business and the community.
By pooling individual contributions United Way maximises funding to ensure that around 200 charities throughout New Zealand are provided with financial assistance each year. This unique method capitalises on the power of collective effort and saves donors the frustration of having to choose which charity to support.
